Meghan Quinn grew up in Temecula, California, in a sports-centered life that shaped both her discipline and, later, her fiction. She earned a full-ride softball scholarship to Binghamton University, where she studied human development and met her future wife, Stephanie Burnett. After graduation she worked for Special Olympics, but the long commute to that job became an unexpected incubator for storytelling: to fill the drive, she began inventing scenes and dialogue, then writing them down. Those early ideas became Caught Looking, the first novel in what would grow into a substantial contemporary romance career.
