Natasha Preston

Natasha Preston is a British author of young adult thrillers and contemporary fiction, best known for The Cellar, The Cabin, and Awake. A New York Times and USA Today bestselling writer, she has built a wide international readership, especially among teen suspense readers.

Biography & Author's Journey

Natasha Preston is a British novelist whose route into publishing was notably unplanned. On her official site, she describes growing up in England’s countryside, living in small towns and villages, drifting through school with average grades, and moving into administration and receptionist work before writing entered her life. The turning point came in 2010, when she found Wattpad while browsing an app store, first reading on the platform and then posting stories of her own. She has since described Wattpad as the place that gave her the confidence she had lacked. ((https://www.natashapreston.com/))
