Jennie Allen is an American Christian author, Bible teacher, and speaker whose work centers on faith, community, discipleship, and thought life. Known for Get Out of Your Head, Find Your People, and Nothing to Prove, she also founded IF:Gathering, extending her influence across contemporary evangelical women’s ministry.
Jennie Allen grew up in a Christian home, but she has said that faith became personal in high school, after which she began teaching girls and young women. She studied at the University of Arkansas for three years, completed a B.S. in Communications at Carson-Newman College after marrying Zac Allen, and earned a master’s in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2005. Those formative years gave her the two strands that would define her career: practical communication and applied theology. She later made Dallas home with Zac and their four children, carrying into public life a ministry style shaped as much by conversation and small groups as by formal teaching.
