Helen Tupper

Helen Tupper is a British career development expert, entrepreneur, and author focused on modern work, leadership, and career growth. She co-founded Amazing If, co-authored The Squiggly Career and You Coach You with Sarah Ellis, and co-hosts the Squiggly Careers podcast, helping popularize practical, non-linear approaches to career development.

Biography & Author's Journey

Helen Tupper built her reputation by translating the uncertainty of modern work into clear, practical career advice. Her early studies included English, business and law, and her later professional development took her to Henley, Cranfield and Cass Business School. Before becoming widely known as an author and educator, she held leadership roles at BP, Virgin and Microsoft, where she developed the commercial and organizational perspective that would later shape her writing. A decisive turning point came in 2018, when, while serving as commercial marketing director at Microsoft, she announced that she would leave corporate life to focus full time on Amazing If, the company she founded with Sarah Ellis.
