Biography & Author's Journey
Anne Morriss built her career at the intersection of entrepreneurship, leadership development, and organizational change. A graduate of Brown University, where she studied American studies, and Harvard Business School, she has also described her years with Amigos de las Américas as a formative influence. Summers in Mexico, Ecuador, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and Brazil, followed by leadership work with the organization, helped shape her conviction that people can change quickly when the right conditions exist. That belief carried into her later work as founder and chief executive of GenePeeks, a computational genomics company, and then into executive coaching, advising, and writing.
