When Google ensures no employee is ever more than three minutes from food, or when they offer over 200 artisan dishes daily, they're not being extravagant-they're being strategic. The question isn't whether workplace design matters, but why so many organizations still ignore what brain science has proven: our environments shape our performance in profound, measurable ways.
