Steven George Mandis é o autor de What Happened to Goldman Sachs: An Insider's Story of Organizational Drift and its Unintended Consequences e ex-executivo da Goldman Sachs, tendo trabalhado na empresa de 1992 a 2004 em áreas de banco de investimento, private equity e negociação proprietária. Sua perspectiva de quem viveu a organização por dentro, combinada com a rigorosa pesquisa sociológica de seu doutorado na Columbia, confere uma autoridade única sobre cultura corporativa e mudança organizacional no setor de serviços financeiros.

Após a Goldman, Mandis cofundou uma empresa de gestão de ativos alternativos de bilhões de dólares, prestou consultoria para a McKinsey & Company e atuou como chefe de gabinete do presidente do Citigroup.
