O Dr. Gordon Neufeld é coautor de Hold On to Your Kids: Why Parents Need to Matter More Than Peers (trabalho publicado em português como Pais Presentes, Filhos Preparados) e um psicólogo do desenvolvimento de renome, especializado no desenvolvimento infantil e na teoria do apego. Nascido em 1946 e radicado em Vancouver, Colúmbia Britânica, Neufeld traz mais de 50 anos de experiência clínica trabalhando com crianças, jovens e famílias para o seu trabalho inovador sobre as relações entre pais e filhos.
