Biografia e Jornada do Autor

Judy Blume, born Judy Sussman in Elizabeth, New Jersey, on February 12, 1938, grew up making up stories long before she imagined becoming an author. After finishing high school with honors, she studied education at New York University and graduated in 1960. The decisive shift came later, when her own children started preschool and the urge to tell stories, dormant but persistent, turned into regular writing. A continuing-education course in writing for children helped move that private imaginative life into print, leading to The One in the Middle Is the Green Kangaroo in 1969 and, soon after, the book that made her a literary force, Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret. ((https://www.britannica.com/biography/Judy-Blume))
