Lisa Laskow Lahey is an educator and organizational thinker whose work focuses on adult development, leadership, and change. A longtime Harvard Graduate School of Education faculty member and cofounder of Minds at Work, she coauthored Immunity to Change and An Everyone Culture, books on personal and organizational transformation.
Lisa Laskow Lahey trained first as a psychologist, earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and later a master’s degree and an Ed.D. in human development from Harvard University. Since 1986, she has worked as an educational consultant to K–12 schools, and at the Harvard Graduate School of Education she went on to hold senior roles in the Change Leadership Group, including research director and later associate director of the Gates-funded initiative devoted to strengthening leadership for school-system improvement. That combination of developmental psychology, school reform, and hands-on consulting became the foundation of her later writing and teaching.
