Financial freedom is achieved when you move away from an income that resets to zero every month based on hours worked and instead focus on building leveraged assets—such as eBooks, rental properties, or automated businesses—that pay you regardless of your physical activity. True productivity should be used as a tool to free up time specifically for these wealth-building activities.

    These two frameworks function as a hybrid system where GTD acts as the "capture" system and Time Blocking acts as the "execution" system. GTD helps you clear your mind by recording every task into a trusted inbox so nothing falls through the cracks. Time Blocking then takes those tasks and assigns them specific slots on your calendar. To be most effective, you should block off "themes" or "contexts" (like "Deep Work" or "Admin") rather than individual small tasks to reduce the mental penalty of context switching.
