Move beyond the hype and learn to treat AI as a powerful intern. This guide provides actionable frameworks like RISE and RTF to integrate AI into marketing, HR, and your daily operations.

Stop treating AI like a science project and start treating it like a power tool. You can’t just read about it; you have to use it to move past the hype and build it into your daily workflow.
While free models are impressive, paid plans provide access to "frontier models" that function as the professional version of the AI's brain. These premium versions offer larger context windows, meaning the AI can remember and process significantly more information in a single conversation. Using a free, older model for professional work is compared to running a modern business on a dial-up connection; it works, but the limitations in reasoning and memory will eventually lead to frustration.
Hallucination is a probabilistic feature of how AI works, as it is always guessing the next likely piece of a word rather than searching a database of facts. To manage this, you must maintain a "human-in-the-loop" approach, acting as an editor-in-chief who verifies all critical statistics, names, and citations. The script emphasizes that AI should be treated as a reasoning engine for structuring and drafting ideas rather than a primary source of truth.
These frameworks transform vague requests into structured "briefs" that yield better results. RISE stands for Role (giving the AI a specific persona), Input (providing background context and data), Steps (outlining the logical sequence of the task), and Expectation (defining the desired format and tone). RTF is a simplified version for quick tasks, standing for Role, Task, and Format, which ensures the AI knows who it is acting as, exactly what it needs to do, and how the final output should look.
Transitioning to an AI-native culture involves a four-phase roadmap: Explore, Codify, Integrate, and Elevate. Teams start by playing with low-stakes tasks to find value, then "codify" those wins into a shared prompt library so everyone can benefit from successful workflows. Integration involves baking these prompts into standard operating procedures, and finally, the "elevate" phase allows the team to use the time saved by AI to focus on higher-level strategic work.
The Interview technique, part of the CRIT framework (Context, Role, Interview, Task), turns the AI into an active partner rather than a passive tool. Instead of trying to provide every detail upfront, you instruct the AI to act as a consultant and ask you a specific number of clarifying questions before it begins the task. This ensures the AI has all the necessary context to produce a high-quality result and takes the pressure off the human to write a perfect initial prompt.
