Nascido em Londres em 1972, Muchamore trabalhou como investigador particular por doze anos antes de escrever o primeiro romance da série CHERUB em 2001, inspirado pela reclamação de seu sobrinho sobre a falta de livros envolventes para leitores adolescentes relutantes.
