Vince Flynn (1966-2013) foi o autor número #1 na lista de mais vendidos do New York Times com a obra Executive Power e criador de um dos heróis mais icônicos da ficção contemporânea: o agente antiterrorista da CIA Mitch Rapp. Executive Power, publicado em 2003, é o sexto volume da aclamada série de thrillers políticos de Flynn, demonstrando seu domínio em narrativas de espionagem internacional de alto risco enraizadas em tensões geopolíticas do mundo real.
