Your cycles of emotional self-abuse mirror the battering and making up of abusive relationships. Until you feel beyond the drama-"he loves me, he loves me not"-your heart remains tangled in abuse. The question is: are you ready to live devotionally open, feeling the layers of deep hurt as they peel away, offering your deepest yearning even while love comes and goes? At heart, beneath your clenched shells, you are love. You can choose to surrender open as your heart's deepest yearning-or refuse because you're afraid to feel the immense pain still abiding in your vulnerable heart. If you have a feminine sexual essence, your deepest desire is not only to open, but to be opened. You want to feel your man's ability to open you through your resistance-to feel him loving you even when you're being difficult. Your feminine form plays the refusal of love to feel your man open you despite your resistance. In the 3rd stage, you realize this drama continues but with humor, both knowing your deep hearts are one even while you say "No" and he opens you to "Yes." A deep man feels all of you, inhabiting you completely like water in a cloud. You naturally surrender in the pleasure of his inhabitance, knowing yourself through his persistent recognition of who you really are: love's fullness yearning open. As you grow spiritually, fewer men will interest you-shallow men become boring, and you require someone who challenges you with fullness of love and commitment. Your current relationship patterns may continue, but your heart remains untouched by superficial contact. You want a man whose presence claims you and calls you deeper-someone who can feel your deep heart and open you despite your resistance. Such men are rare, but they exist. If you aren't attracting them, examine your own devotional practice and openness. When considering whether to stay in a relationship, identify your deepest desire. If it's family or financial security, stay as long as he shares these goals. But if your heart yearns to be seen, known, and loved so fully that divine love opens boundlessly through you, you need a man who evokes your devotional surrender. Trust is the heart of your relationship. Though shells sometimes block your loving, you've practiced opening through hurt and learned to trust each other's deep heart yearning. If you have a feminine sexual essence, you yearn to be claimed and opened to the divine by a man of integrity, regardless of your worldly success. Be careful your professional life isn't a substitute for being fully ravished. When ready to surrender, you'll attract a man who can open you fully. The 3rd stage is mutual worship of each other's heart-depth, recognizing your shells make you the last person able to feel if your heart is fully offered. You grow to trust your man's capacity to feel and open you more fully than you can open yourself, surrendering to love larger than yourself. Remember love-love yourself, your lover, and everyone just as you are. Practice allowing your heart to yearn open, counteracting habitual closure. Your yearning is a gift. You're not here to get; you're here to give. Only your yearning-love's desire to open through you-remains constant as bodies and relationships fade. You will attract a man as willing to open as you are. Surrender open beyond the edges of the universe, or know you're actively choosing less. This moment is your opportunity to feel and breathe all, offering your dance of love as deeply as you've ever yearned.
