“孵化期”是指当你暂时放下难题,意识不再关注它时,大脑内部仍在进行的无意识加工过程。此时,大脑的“默认模式网络”变得活跃,它擅长在互不相干的信息间建立新联系。由于没有了逻辑系统的严密监控,大脑可以利用释放出的认知资源进行广泛的“激活扩散”,让那些在清醒时被忽略的线索在潜意识里相互碰撞,最终促成问题的解决。
是的,睡眠特别是快速眼动睡眠(REM)阶段,是概念网络进行广泛重组的最佳时机。在睡眠中,前额叶对逻辑的控制几乎消失,大脑可以不受约束地重构记忆片段。研究表明,经历过REM阶段的人在处理远距离联想任务时的正确率显著更高。睡眠不仅能缓解疲劳,更是在进行“离线加工”,帮助大脑从宏观角度看清问题的本质。
