Explore the connection between Christ and the Tao. Learn how the Gospel of John’s 'Word' translates to the 'Way' and discover a faith defined by flow, not rules.

We’ve been looking at faith all wrong—like we’re trying to memorize a map when we should be learning how to swim. It’s about moving from 'knowing about' God to actually flowing with Him.
A deep philosophical study bridging Taoism and Christianity, focusing on the teachings of masters like Laozi (Tao Te Ching), Zhuangzi, and the practical philosophy of Bruce Lee to reveal eternal truths in Christ and Scripture. Make this deeply introspective and theological and cultivate it for a 21st century American to have his eyes opened to Christ

Viewing Christ as the Tao shifts the perspective of faith from a rigid list of doctrines to an ancient way of flow. This concept suggests that the 'Eternal Tao' described by the sage Laozi is the same person the Apostles followed. Instead of trying to control life through rules, this perspective encourages believers to embrace a spiritual fluidity similar to the way water moves, as famously suggested by Bruce Lee.
The relationship is found in historical biblical translation. When the Gospel of John was translated into Chinese, translators chose the word 'Tao' for the opening line, 'In the beginning was the Word.' This translation implies that Christ is the 'Way' that flows through everything, connecting ancient Eastern intuition with the foundational texts of Christianity and offering a deeper understanding of the 'Eternal Tao'.
The 'Way of Flow' contrasts with the common 21st-century view of Christianity as a set of rigid rules or a map to be memorized. While many people struggle to stay in control by building metaphorical dams in their spiritual lives, the concept of the Tao suggests learning how to swim within the natural tide of faith. It emphasizes a shift from rigid control to a dynamic, living experience of the divine.
