Mitochondrial DNA is passed down exclusively from mothers to their children, allowing researchers to trace an unbroken maternal line back to a single woman. Similarly, the Y-chromosome is passed only from fathers to sons, leading back to a single male ancestor. While secular scientists often debate the exact timeline, these genetic markers confirm that the entire human race originated from one original pair.

    Some scientific studies previously suggested that the common male and female ancestors lived thousands of years apart, which would seem to contradict the idea of them being a couple. However, the story of Noah’s Ark provides a genetic explanation for this gap. On the Ark, the four men (Noah and his three sons) all shared Noah’s Y-chromosome, creating a "recent" genetic bottleneck for males. In contrast, the wives of Noah’s sons came from different families and carried diverse mitochondrial DNA, meaning the female ancestral line traces back much further to the original Eve.

    Evolutionary theory is based on the idea of slow, gradual changes over millions of years. However, scientists acknowledge that humans from 200,000 years ago were anatomically identical to people living today. This lack of observable change over such a vast period creates a paradox: if humans have remained stagnant for 200,000 years, it contradicts the assumption that massive evolutionary leaps occurred in the few million years prior. This suggests that humans may have been designed in their current form from the beginning.

    In ancient Hebrew, the name "Adam" is a play on words connected to the earth. It is derived from the root "adamah," which means "red ground" or "soil," and is linked to "dam," the word for blood. This suggests Adam was the "Red Man" formed from "Red Ground." Interestingly, this matches the vibrant red clay soil found in the Nile Valley and Ethiopian highlands, the same geographic region where both the Bible and modern genetics place the beginnings of the human story.

    Modern genetics shows that humans are incredibly similar, regardless of where they live. There is actually more genetic variation between two individuals in the same African village than there is between a European and an Asian person. The physical differences we see, such as skin tone, are simply minor adaptations to different climates—like developing lighter skin in northern regions to absorb Vitamin D. Underneath these surface variations, every human carries the same genetic markers from the same original source, proving we are one single, unified family.
