He is best known for co-authoring The New Digital Age, How Google Works, and Genesis, drawing on experience as Google’s former CEO and chairman during the company’s global expansion.
Eric Schmidt was born on April 27, 1955, in Washington, D.C., and trained first as an engineer, taking a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at Princeton and then a master’s degree and Ph.D. in computer science at the University of California, Berkeley.
