研究表明，拥有SBTi验证的企业在市场波动中表现出更强的韧性，股价波动率通常较低，因为它们已系统性地对冲了碳税和法规变化的风险。在融资方面，欧洲银行已开始根据SBTi结果重新定价风险：设定科学碳目标的企业可获得约16个基点的优惠利率，而高排放且拒绝设标的企业则可能被加收约2个基点的风险溢价。这种利差使得减碳从成本项转变为一种融资策略，为企业节省数百万欧元的财务费用。
