This ensures that a report in the "Production" workspace automatically points to the production database, while the "Dev" version stays connected to test data.

Small teams can start at Level 1 by using SharePoint for basic version history, then move to Level 2 by adopting the PBIP format and local Git commits for a text-based history of their work.
