Rachel Kushner é a autora aclamada pela crítica de Os Lança-Chamas e uma romancista reconhecida internacionalmente, conhecida por suas explorações vívidas sobre arte, política e movimentos radicais. Publicado em 2013, Os Lança-Chamas é uma obra-prima da ficção literária ambientada no cenário artístico de Nova York e no submundo italiano dos anos 1970, tecendo temas de feminismo, criatividade e rebeldia através da história de uma jovem navegando pelo mundo da vanguarda.
