Naomi Novik é a autora best-seller do New York Times de O Dragão de Sua Majestade e uma mestre da fantasia e da ficção de história alternativa. Nascida em Nova York em 1973 e criada com contos de fadas poloneses e Tolkien, ela traz raízes literárias profundas para sua reimaginação "Flintlock Fantasy" das Guerras Napoleônicas com dragões.
