No, carrying a gene does not guarantee its expression. This concept is known as "penetrance," which describes the likelihood that a gene will actually manifest a specific trait. Research indicates that about 85% to 90% of all human genetic variation occurs within a single "race," while the differences traditionally used to define different races account for only about 7% of our total genetic diversity.

I love the fact that I can get useful, condensed, information and ideas in a 8 - 15 minute podcast style audio. I'm not a general fan of podcasts because of all the fluff, but this cuts through all that.
