OpenClaw è un progetto innovativo di intelligenza artificiale, nato da un'idea dello sviluppatore austriaco Peter Steinberger, che permette all'IA di controllare direttamente il tuo PC. A differenza dei semplici chatbot, OpenClaw agisce sul sistema operativo per gestire compiti complessi come l'organizzazione del calendario, il controllo dei prezzi dei voli o la sistemazione dei file. È un sistema che non si limita a rispondere a domande, ma possiede le capacità tecniche per operare attivamente sul computer dell'utente.
Il progetto era originariamente chiamato Clawdbot, un gioco di parole tra 'claw' (chela d'aragosta) e Claude, l'IA di Anthropic su cui si basa. Jackson spiega che, a causa di questioni legali, il nome è stato cambiato prima in Moltbot e infine nel definitivo OpenClaw. Nonostante il cambio di nome, l'icona dell'aragosta è rimasta il simbolo distintivo di questa tecnologia che funge da vero e proprio agente IA capace di interagire con l'interfaccia del computer.

I love the fact that I can get useful, condensed, information and ideas in a 8 - 15 minute podcast style audio. I'm not a general fan of podcasts because of all the fluff, but this cuts through all that.

I am finishing up my doctorate, and have to read a lot of unfamiliar material... With BeFreed, you simply enter a prompt, and the app finds source material for you and generates an audio podcast. I find the process in BeFreed to be more streamlined than NotebookLM.
