Todo lo que no puede cuantificarse, como la creatividad real o la conexión humana, queda fuera del sistema. Esto genera un vacío existencial, ya que el trabajo pierde su propósito profundo y se convierte en un trámite frío y mecánico.

    Para sobrevivir en la "jaula de hierro", es necesario recuperar la "racionalidad sustantiva", es decir, volver a cuestionar el propósito de nuestras acciones más allá de la eficiencia.
