Bryan Caplan

출생: April 08, 1971 – Northridge, California, United States

Bryan Caplan is an American economist and writer known for work on public choice, political economy, immigration, education, and family economics. 전기 및 작가의 여정

Bryan Caplan built his career at the intersection of economics, philosophy, and public argument. Born in 1971, he studied economics at the University of California, Berkeley, graduating in 1993, and earned a Ph.D. in economics from Princeton University in 1997. In his own intellectual autobiography, he describes an early turning point in high school, when reading Ayn Rand and later libertarian writers pushed him toward big questions about politics, markets, and human behavior. Another formative step came through the Institute for Humane Studies, where he met Tyler Cowen before joining George Mason University in 1997, the institution where he would spend his academic career and later become professor of economics.
