Milan Kundera (1929–2023) è stato un romanziere ceco-francese e maestro della narrativa esistenziale, noto soprattutto per aver scritto L'insostenibile leggerezza dell'essere, un'esplorazione fondamentale dell'amore, del tumulto politico e del paradosso filosofico. Nato a Brno, in Cecoslovacchia, le opere di Kundera intrecciano le sue esperienze sotto il regime comunista con incisive critiche all'ideologia, alla memoria e all'impermanenza umana.
