Paul Charles William Davies è un fisico teorico, cosmologo e astrobiologo britannico. È anche l'autore di La mente di Dio, un'esplorazione della scienza, della cosmologia e di profonde domande sulla natura della realtà e dell'esistenza.

Nato nel 1946 a Londra, Davies ha conseguito il dottorato di ricerca presso l'University College London. Ha ricoperto prestigiosi incarichi accademici a Cambridge, al King's College di Londra e all'Università di Newcastle upon Tyne.
