Simon Sinek, born in Wimbledon, London in 1973, spent his formative years in a variety of international cities including Johannesburg, London, and Hong Kong, before settling with his family in the United States. He completed high school at Northern Valley Regional High School at Demarest and went on to earn a BA in cultural anthropology from Brandeis University. Initially intending to become a barrister, he studied law at City University in London but soon shifted course, drawn to the world of advertising. Sinek started his professional journey at global agencies such as Ogilvy & Mather and Havas Creative, experiences that introduced him to the mechanics of leadership, communication, and organizational behavior.
