Sir David John Spiegelhalter es el autor de The Art of Uncertainty: How to Navigate Chance, Ignorance, Risk and Luck, y es un renombrado estadístico británico y experto líder en la comunicación del riesgo y la comprensión pública de la probabilidad. Nacido en 1953, es Profesor Emérito de Estadística en la Universidad de Cambridge y fue Profesor Winton de Comprensión Pública del Riesgo de 2007 a 2018.
