Naomi Novik es la autora superventas del New York Times de El dragón de su majestad y una maestra de la fantasía y la ficción de historia alternativa. Nacida en Nueva York en 1973 y criada con cuentos de hadas polacos y Tolkien, aporta profundas raíces literarias a su reimaginación "Flintlock Fantasy" de las Guerras Napoleónicas con dragones.
