Carl Ransom Rogers (1902-1987) es el autor de El camino del ser (A Way of Being) y un psicólogo estadounidense pionero que fundó la psicoterapia centrada en la persona y la psicología humanista. Este libro de desarrollo personal y psicología explora la vida auténtica, las relaciones terapéuticas y el potencial humano, temas arraigados en sus décadas de práctica clínica que revolucionaron la psicoterapia moderna.

Rogers obtuvo su doctorado en la Universidad de Columbia y ocupó cátedras en la Universidad Estatal de Ohio, la Universidad de Chicago y la Universidad de Wisconsin.
