About the Author

Carla Lisbeth Rueckert (1943–2015) was the spiritual author of Living the Law of One 101: The Choice and a pioneering channeler best known for her groundbreaking work with the Ra material. Her expertise in metaphysics, spiritual philosophy, and channeled communication shaped modern New Age thought and continues to influence seekers worldwide.

Born in Lake Forest, Illinois, Rueckert was a child prodigy who devoted her life to exploring UFO phenomena and spiritual truths. She co-founded L/L Research and worked alongside physicist Don Elkins to produce the influential Law of One series, beginning with The Ra Material in the early 1980s. She also co-authored Secrets of the UFO (1977), considered one of the field's definitive works.

Throughout her career, Rueckert channeled over a dozen books, counseled hundreds of spiritual seekers, and spoke at gatherings across the country. The Law of One material has been translated into multiple languages and remains widely studied by those exploring consciousness, service, and spiritual evolution.
