Richard Osman

Nato: November 28, 1970 – Billericay, Essex, England

Richard Osman is a British television presenter, producer, and novelist whose work spans entertainment and crime fiction. Best known for co-hosting Pointless and writing The Thursday Murder Club series, including The Man Who Died Twice, he has become a bestselling author, with his novels selling millions of copies worldwide.

Biografia e Percorso dell'Autore

Richard Osman came of age in Sussex in a household shaped by his mother’s steadiness, working-class ambition, and a strong belief in education. He later studied Social and Political Sciences at Trinity College, Cambridge, a background that sits neatly with the observational intelligence of his fiction. Before he became a novelist, he built a substantial career in television, working his way up to senior creative roles and then becoming widely known as the co-presenter of Pointless and the host of House of Games. That long apprenticeship in production, format-building, and live audience judgment gave him an unusual apprenticeship for writing: timing, clarity, and an instinct for what keeps people engaged.
