Hablaba de la necrofilia, pero no desde el morbo típico de las noticias, sino como algo que refleja lo que somos. O sea, ¿cómo es que algo que nos causa tanto rechazo puede tener un trasfondo tan profundo sobre nuestra propia mortalidad?

    Nia: Es que fíjate que ese es el punto. Solemos verlo como una desviación aislada, pero hay estudios que dicen que esto lo vive cerca del 0,5% de la población. No es solo un "gusto por lo macabro", sino una confrontación simbólica con lo inevitable, con ese miedo a la castración o a la pérdida total de control.

    Lena: Claro, y además leí por ahí que para muchos no es violencia, sino una respuesta a traumas o experiencias precoces con la muerte. Me impactó una encuesta de hace un par de años donde el 68% de los que sienten esta atracción decían que todo conectaba con pérdidas emocionales muy intensas. Es como si usaran lo muerto para no sentirse vulnerables ante lo vivo.

    Nia: Tal cual, porque un cadáver no te puede rechazar ni amenazar. Al final del día, estas fantasías que llamamos "grotescas" son como un espejo de la mierda que cargamos; revelan esa necesidad de burlar la ley de la muerte a través del fetiche. Para entender por qué nos perturba tanto, hay que empezar por mirar qué es lo que realmente estamos intentando proteger en nuestra propia estructura psíquica.
