He transitioned from simply working harder to building tools like Speechify, which uses deep learning to process ten million books worth of words annually, providing massive leverage over traditional methods.
Speechify was born out of Cliff Weitzman’s personal struggle with dyslexia. Rather than just trying to work harder at reading, he built a deep learning model to solve the problem. This tool allowed him to turn a personal challenge into a scalable solution that reads millions of words, demonstrating how high-volume output and technical leverage can solve complex personal and professional hurdles.
