Love is not easily angered. The original Greek text simply states "love is not angered" - the word "easily" was added in translation. Love isn't irritable, touchy, or quick to take offense. It doesn't walk around with a chip on its shoulder looking for reasons to be upset.

Moses, chosen by God to lead His people from bondage and entrusted with divine law, would be an absent husband - disappearing for days on spiritual mountain retreats. When home, he'd be overwhelmed with leading millions of people somewhere, sometime, spending all hours counseling and solving problems.
David was simultaneously a man after God's own heart, a great leader and warrior, yet also an adulterer, murderer, and failure as a father. These contradictions reveal an important truth: all these biblical men were deeply flawed individuals chosen by a perfect God to fulfill His will, requiring supportive godly women beside them.
A truly godly man reflects his Savior by having God's mind, seeing through His eyes, possessing His heart, and being His hands in the world. Examples include Booker T. Washington's brother who wore Booker's rough new shirts until they softened, sparing his younger brother pain, and a Salvation Army doctor who compassionately removed shackles from leprous criminals, earning their loyalty when they later protected his family.
