Lindsey Pollak built her public career by turning an early instinct for advising students into a long-running body of work on careers and generational change. A graduate of Yale University, she has said that her professional origin story began when she served as a resident advisor in college and discovered that she liked helping students navigate academics, extracurriculars, careers, and life choices while also translating their concerns to adults. She later studied in Melbourne on a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship, earning a master’s degree in women’s studies from Monash University in 1999. An early interview in which her degree was dismissed became a formative setback, pushing her to rethink what useful work and expertise could look like. ((https://lindseypollak.com/about/))
