Born and raised in Central Falls, Rhode Island, Beauregard has been writing horror since the 6th grade and has released over 25 books known for their dark, boundary-pushing narratives that explore violence, trauma, and the darkest corners of human nature. His unflinching approach to extreme horror has earned him critical acclaim, including two Splatterpunk Awards and multiple nominations.

An avid supporter of horror art and illustration, Beauregard hires illustrators for every release under his AB Horror brand, creating a distinctive visual identity for his work. He has collaborated with genre legends including Shane McKenzie and John Skipp on projects like Benjamin and The Ugly Truth.
