전기 및 작가의 여정

John Maynard Keynes was born in Cambridge on June 5, 1883, into a distinguished academic family. His father, John Neville Keynes, was an economist and university administrator, and his mother, Florence Ada Keynes, was a prominent civic figure who later became mayor of Cambridge. Educated at Eton and then at King’s College, Cambridge, he showed unusual range from an early age, excelling in mathematics, classics, and philosophy as well as economics. After a brief period at the India Office and early work on probability and Indian finance, he returned to Cambridge, where he became closely connected to the university’s intellectual life and to the Bloomsbury circle.
