The airline also introduced new RECARO seats featuring six-way headrests and electronic device holders, though some passengers have noted these seats feel thinner than previous models.
This issue stems from the combination of assigned seating and the introduction of checked bag fees. As more passengers bring carry-on luggage to avoid fees, the overhead bins—which were not originally designed for every passenger to have a large roll-aboard—fill up quickly.
