Sabaa Tahir

生年: November 07, 1983 – London, England, United Kingdom

ソーシャルリンク:

Sabaa Tahir is an American novelist who writes young adult fantasy and contemporary fiction centered on power, resistance, trauma, and identity. She is best known for the #1 New York Times bestselling An Ember in the Ashes series and All My Rage, which won the National Book Award and the Printz Award.

経歴と著者の歩み

Sabaa Tahir’s writing life grew out of an unusually transient childhood. Born in London and raised in California’s Mojave Desert, she spent her early years at her family’s 18-room motel, a place of constant arrivals and departures that sharpened her sense of impermanence and observation. She has spoken about the isolation of Ridgecrest, the racism and exclusion she experienced there, and the way books became both refuge and education. Storytelling began early in conversations with her mother and in handwritten fantasy drafts; at UCLA, where she majored in communication and wrote for the Daily Bruin, that private imaginative life met journalism and public language.
