Lois P. Frankel
Lois P. Frankel is an executive coach and business author whose work focuses on leadership, workplace behavior, and women’s career advancement. She is best known for the bestselling Nice Girls Don’t Get the Corner Office and related titles, which helped bring mainstream attention to behaviors that can limit professional success.

Lois P. Frankel grew up in New York and built her academic foundation at SUNY Oswego, where she earned degrees in Education and Psychology in 1973 before going on to complete a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Southern California. In later reflections on her college years, she described Oswego as formative in sharpening her awareness of women’s issues, class, culture, and emotional intelligence, subjects that would later define her work. After developing a background in human resources and coaching, she founded Corporate Coaching International in 1986, establishing the professional base from which she would advise leaders, teams, and organizations for decades.
