Your health is actually your competitive advantage. Productivity per hour actually declines sharply when you work more than 50 hours a week; working more doesn't mean getting more done, it often just means making more mistakes.

Lena: You know, Miles, I was looking at my to-do list this morning—between the online business tasks and the house being a mess—and I just felt this wave of "How am I supposed to do it all and stay happy?" It’s like we’re all trying to grow our income while also trying to be the person who never says no to anyone.
Miles: It’s a lot to carry. And here’s the counterintuitive part: we often think saying "yes" to everyone is being kind, but research actually shows that chronic people-pleasing is often driven by a fear of rejection. It can lead to serious burnout and even make our relationships less authentic because we’re hiding our true needs.
Lena: Right, and that stress makes it so much harder to focus on things like working out or eating well. It’s all connected.
Miles: Exactly. The good news is that happiness isn't about perfect circumstances; it's grown through tiny, intentional habits—like organizing just one small drawer or catching ten minutes of morning light.
Lena: So let’s explore how we can set those essential boundaries and build a routine that actually supports your health and your business goals.
