Aharon Appelfeld (1932–2018) è stato un sopravvissuto all'Olocausto e un acclamato romanziere israeliano che ha conferito un'autenticità lancinante a Storia di una vita, un libro di memorie che intreccia il trauma personale con la più ampia identità ebraica.
