Despite hoping for a Star Trek-like utopia with floating cities and restored biodiversity, the author acknowledges the contradiction in his own actions-driving a fossil fuel car to a climate rally while lamenting clear-cutting. Nietzsche was wrong about cows being "fettered to the moment"-they can plan and experience melancholy.
