John Bevere is a Christian minister and speaker whose writing focuses on discipleship, holiness, and the fear of the Lord. He is best known for The Bait of Satan and other books including Driven by Eternity and The Awe of God. Through Messenger International, his work has reached millions worldwide in numerous languages.
John Bevere’s public story begins less in publishing than in redirection: as an engineering student at Purdue University who alternated school with work at IBM, he became a Christian in 1979 in his fraternity and later wrote that the experience disrupted plans for corporate advancement and redirected him toward ministry.
