Joelle Charbonneau est l'auteure à succès du New York Times de la série L'Élite (The Testing) et une voix marquante de la fiction dystopique pour jeunes adultes. Née à Chicago en 1974, Charbonneau a passé sa vingtaine à se produire dans des opéras et des comédies musicales à travers la région de Chicago avant de découvrir sa passion pour l'écriture à l'âge de 29 ans.
