J. R. Klein, auteur de The Code et auteur-immunologiste primé, jette avec brio un pont entre la rigueur scientifique et le suspense psychologique. Né à Détroit et ayant grandi à Chicago, Klein détient un doctorat de l'Université Johns Hopkins et apporte des décennies d'expertise académique en immunologie à son art narratif. Son premier roman, Frankie Jones (2016), une exploration littéraire de l'ambition et de la tragédie, a suscité des comparaisons avec le réalisme dépouillé de Hemingway.
